I haven't used avidemux in about a decade. Most will be in the Canonical repos - like KDenLive or Shotcut or the other 10 programs. There are lots of video editors if you need transitions or track controls. Between my Ryzen desktop systems, this problem doesn't happen, though the remote machine is 6 inches away from the other one. The window gets displayed, but never filled in.

AVIDEMUX UBUNTU PLUS
Plus it doesn't work over the network if the client is a laptop with an intel iGPU. Since it is so slow, I usually want to work in other programs rather than wait for a slow process to finish. Electron also doesn't seem to work until the window has focus. As commonly happens, the developer seems to be all about the mouse, which is about the least efficient way to cut videos. Movement inside the video should be with 1 hand and marking cut locations should use the other hand, for example. Also, I find some of the keyboard shortcuts to be really poorly thought out. It has an AppImage for distribution, but appimages don't notify of available updates. The main downside to LosslessCut is that it is a bloated, slow, electron application. LosslessCut is a non-transcoding video editor that will accept an mplayer EDL file. mplayer can create an EDL using human input for the location of the cuts, then that can be massaged into an mkvmerge script. You can use ffmpeg or mkvmerge to edit videos if you want a CLI method. There are lots of video editors on Linux. (even) Partial answers can be very helpful and appreciated in advance. (Life is short so we want to save time by fast watching/listening sometimes.) in the past kaffeine has fast play option, why not now. maybe also rumble) allow slow and fast watching.Ĭan we do it for downloaded videos on our desktiop as well? I mean, there are external methods of course, but it would reduce quality.
AVIDEMUX UBUNTU DOWNLOAD
There is html5, what else.Ĭan I locate actual url of a video easily?Ĭan we download any video? : assuming we can watch.Ĭan downloading be prevented (for audio or video).
AVIDEMUX UBUNTU INSTALL
There must be an easy command line install option. (no plan to upgrade), or any other alternatives in repository? What are we supposed to do do get basic avidemux from a trustable source There are complicated alternatives, but they sound untrustable, plus they don't work. In the past there was avidemux for video editing. It is in repository, so no problem there.
